MS001 has landed with a 5 track VA from artists based in Leeds and Bristol. These 5 tracks showcase the variety of all electro.

Kicking off the compilation, Fazack serves up a fresh cut of breakbeat driven prog. Combining thumping, 2-step tinged drums with open, soaring pads and acid leads, ‘Sick ’n’ Twisted’ demonstrates Faz’s dance-floor mastery.

Next up, Goodby Boogie Dance’s ‘Ronny Deep’ meshes a bouncing bass line with hard-hitting drums, silky synth lines and carefully curated vocal samples to deliver a certified dance-floor groover.

Just Blakey’s basement-ready electro stomper ‘BR110’ follows. A melodic acid-tinged synth line weaves through tight analogue drums and off-kilter stabs and bleeps to deliver a heavy cut of his signature steel-city infused sound.

Never one to disappoint, ‘Bronze Upper Lip’ see’s Kristi delve into the proggy side of dance music. Enforced by a smooth 4x4 kick and steady bass line, space-age synth lines and catchy melodies combine to deliver a stomping late night groove.

Closing off the compilation, Grøve’s ‘Dancing on Pluto’ combines skippy breakbeat based percussion, a catchy hard-hitting bass line and hypnotic synth lines to form the perfect closer for the compilation.

Pük joins the Mirror Studies ranks with the dark, acid-tinged 2-tracker, ‘Thunder Child’. The Sheffield-based producer delves into moody atmospheres and captivating rhythms, serving up two dance floor focused cuts of twisting, interplanetary tech house. 

Each track explores the contrast between shadowy, dark synths and biting bass, as well showcasing Pük’s ability to pair sharp cut drums with acid-laden synth lines.
