It's been 3 years since Ash Roy released on Soupherb. Finally he's back with a 3-track EP entitled ‘Triptower’, a collaboration with fellow producer 8-Bit Culprit, from his hometown Calcutta. The tracks were produced while Ash was touring India early this year. It combines elements from each artist of driving bass lines, fat acid drenched leads, tight groovy percussions, and fantastic storylines. 8-Bit Culprit incorporates melodic elements which he's known for and Ash Roy brings in his distinct psychedelic influence.

Needless to say, both these producers have spent years honing their skills and hence the tracks sound tight and lush, perfect for large sound systems at festivals and clubs, with killer results for the dance floor.

BOHO and Rachel Raw have been grinding away for the past few years in the German techno scene from their hometown, Cologne. The two collaborate frequently both in the studio and on the decks, combining BOHO’s deep and focused sound with Rachel Raw’s heavy beats and hypnotizing melodies.

Their new EP, The Happening, stays true to their respective genre-bending catalogues. The title track displays a beautiful, spacey melody over a deep, techy bass line and driving groove. The Mr. Bizz remix thickens things up and takes it to the late-night dancefloor with a deeper and darker techno arrangement. Hansaring brings in the 303 for some acid-flavored progressive house, while Silver Stripe makes use of a filter-modulated bass and arpeggiated melodies to craft a hypnotic and exciting arrangement. Altogether it’s a diverse and unique set of sounds that showcases the German duo’s knack for interesting, genre-blending techno.

Next up is Beatamines take on "Electric Eel". He masterfully preserved the overall feel of the song while adding harmonics with spacey sound bleeps and a catchy bass line. The flipside of the EP features "Wild Camping" and "Departure from Moon". While "Wild Camping" is a wild ride full of stirring melodies and crazy drum percussions, "Departure from Moon" really feels like a space mission to the planet Rave - which sets everyone in motion and makes them forget reality for the short time of this song.
