A Hollow Dream

The new lead single, ’All You Remember’, is from the up-coming EP, ‘Soft Burning Silver’, taking the lighter and dreamier moments of the previous self-titled EP, and placing them at the forefront, resulting in a clearer sound, whilst still managing to maintain the initial darker feel. 

The B-side to the new release, ‘Waiting To Be Free’, follows suit by being less abrasive, as well as adding a somewhat nostalgic sound to the mix, which didn’t fit in with the overall tones of this follow up EP.

Self-inflicted creative doubts and projected frustration provides the lyrical framework for ‘Nothing New’, Transistor’s first release since 2018.

The latest single from Wellington’s psychedelic trio sees the group taking a deep dive into fuzzed-out guitars paired with a newfound love for synthesisers. Gone are the lucid grooves of 2018’s ‘Soft Burning Silver’ EP; with propulsive rhythms, driving bass lines and electronic drum samples taking hold.

A collection of distorted reimaginings filtered through distant voices and various minds.

Featuring an array of futuristic sound collagists, including Comf, Japes, Georgey Dollah and QWAZDYN. A fragmented reflection at the end of the tunnel.
