Independent label, promoter and blog specialising in post-punk, indie/alternative, electronica, and leftfield pop. Est. 2009.

Mirrorball, the Los Angeles duo, comprising singer-songwriter Alexandra Johnstone and multi-instrumentalist/composer Scott Watson, intertwines dream pop with shades of overcast psych and neo-psychedelia.

Their debut single, "This Time" emerged on Dangerbird Records in 2019, catching the ear of renowned indie producer Chris Coady, known for his work with indie icons Beach House and DIIV, sparking the creation of their EP.

With roots deeply embedded in the LA music scene, Johnstone's musical journey includes stints with folk pop outfit White Dove, while Watson made his mark during Silverlake's musical peak with various rock outfits. 

Grimy Goods recently observed: “Mirrorball’s two dream heads burning rubber down Los Angeles freeways. The bittersweet wonderment of “Red Hot Dust” signals a truly enchanting debut is on the way.”
