Impressions cast from lyric and rhythm – desire in movement, now articulated and set forth. Meaning arises between attention and action. In darkness what is it?

Air is breath, like light through crystal; it’s truth and sacred geometry. A version like ancient stone - the sample shows in layers, solid time. Compressed life. Pages packed together and seen from the edge, razor sharp and two dimensional. We are
the salt we become, our children and ancestors. All at once, being forever; a verse, then volume and tome.

But we slow, dragging like ploughs tilling clay. The physical is a language like memory – translated into real. Turn from backwards to parallel, watch it reduce; remember downstream. The rock, earth and salt, our real reconfigured.

Type peels away, turning to sand in the wash. Disordering disorder - now still. Translation becomes everything, set sequence and entropy. Whole, to node, to nothing, and all. Not new, just another.

Vector Trancer’s journey continues; re-emerging into the central stream, deep dub glows and woven polyrhythm conjure vital knowledge for protection and expression. Viridis Mantra and outer canopy steam, we’re brought tense rhythm experiments and biospheric reverb – see further excursions in atmos and shades from Touch, Fax, Geometrik, or Ed Handley on a dark one.

sqnc:cnsqnc was born from this simple idea;
write with a more rhythmic approach.

After two years of sound design and ethereal exploration,
this project marks a deliberate and lasting return to sequenced composition.

It explores a radical minimalism through cyclic patterns,
fast kicks, and sharp clips,
balanced with organic, unsequenced ambiances and textures.

It is also an attempt to infuse the free-party soundscape
(heard in the intro and in the hard, distorted kicks of certain tracks)
into a radical, rhythmic, and minimalist approach to composition.

Deeply rooted in IDM, techno, tribe, hi-tech, and breakcore,
this record focuses on movement and variation in listening
while maintaining a heady, repetitive energy.

For its inaugural release Mirror Zone unveils a repressing of an overlooked EP from UK artist Memphis way back when in 1994. We're delivered complex, mystic rhythms nodding to the likes of PWOG, Paradise 3001 and Sabres of Paradise, the unique breakbeat-tweaked, tribal-trance epitiomising early 90s output from labels like KK, Go Bang!, Dream and ESP Records.

New message from the Mirror Zone, signals here cast by DJ Ungel who summons mystic breakbeat and shamanic acid from deep fractal wells of pan-consciousness. Charged mantras echo and gate amongst pulsating Megadog trance, whilst waves of ERP and Stinsonian electro roll into the ambient dub of Higher Intelligence Agency, Universal Egg, and other Artificial Intelligence like Banco De Gaia and Sandoz.

We are understanding - process born from fact. The rope is taut, calm, made of ritual and leading us back – but in telling it transforms; pre-linguistic, stamped, fully dynamic, the start refracts into new versions and inwards we fold. It remains rhythm in absence, but grows as we watch.

[MZ003] Vector Trancer - Opening The Inner Gates 1

Inner atmos and next time – rain into rivers, rivers to rain.

Sequence is subjective, irrelevant – it’s where we stand. Out of order, we dissolve and reform, coming together to come undone. There is no first, no now, no next – just precision points in the wide deep sky.

Another bang, another – it’s the reading which is important. Repeating in parallel, the natural loop is healing; repair, resonance, return. We live in a fragment; soft light and clouds drift like dreams into memory, showing movement in the mirror.

In this present, we are touched to have unreleased business from Memphis. In unlocking the stoic DAT tapes we open a direct channel from 1993 to this now; three tracks which are meditative, essential rhythm with direct, organic charge. It’s Dream Night Dance Music and Osram 509, with RHK, En-Trance, and Microgravity.

More poetry in remembering our first release was also Memphis. Big complex loops and inner paths. Who’s been here before? All of us, one of us, none of us.

Deeper life and worlds within worlds; one is many which is many more.

Under micro and even inner, we’re threaded through another one – to speak without knowledge in secret electric, key to the great flow. Dig down in the dirt, our joints pivot and split to turn the earth, scrambling all to rest as one. We crawl to the pulse and see other ways – growth under ground and movement. Marry the buds to bring new light, glide we beyond process – this is ancient and essential.

Structure and system, raw number demands perspective - up close, and even closer still. Written fine in the grain, focus now to see another one, entire, whole, hidden deep in our own. Now feel the gaze fall on your thread, where do we sit in the balance? Maybe it's we inside another, the biggest curl in the helix.

New vital truth from our Mirror Zone – Taxa is brought; the precious, tight rhythms draw vibrant life and complex energy - psychic drama, frenetic/war cry and high charged. Detailed ancestral rhythm written deep in our bones and carried on, the colours primary; we’re given hard rolling threads in mystic Goa and tribal, psytrance, tekno – Inner Light, shades of Day Glo, and other biospheres and sacred grooves.
