Pushmaster Discs and Mattia Trani are proud to present the remixes for the Italian producer’s last album “Scenery”.

Mattia invited his favourite producers of the past and present to create their own vision of his music.

The remix album is due 30 June and will be released on vinyl, split in 3 parts, and digital.

Up first are Detroit legend Robert Hood and pioneer Luke Slater as Planetary Assault Systems. Both remixed “One More Step”, leading the minimalistic tool into more percussive realms. Ken Ishii, Mattia’s favourite producer from the 90s, reworked “Scenery” adding timeless Japanese futuristic atmospheres to the track. Marcel Dettmann delivered a, for him, unusual 122bpm deep house banger through his version of “Videogame” which features vocals by Theo Nasa.

On the second 12”, the best hard-techno producers and djs of the moment Alignment, Indira Paganotto and Lee Ann Roberts, gave “Biologic Horror”, “End of Days” and “No Future” a 2023 treatment. Paul Ritch and Luigi Madonna complete the line up with their old school acid versions.

Finally, the third vinyl sees Mattia’s close friend Fedele remix “Scenery” into a melodic hit. Wrapping things up are K91, Matgroove and Gianma Bln, all upcoming artists from Italy and students at Mattia’s music academy. Each of them tackled “Endless Optimism” but whilst K91 explored breaks, Matgroove took a deeper route and Gianma Bln played with razor sharp arrangements.

Once again trying to hard and using 100% capacity of the scull jelly for some big brain time. In this self aware and meta description you’re not gonna learn much about anything new, but maybe you’re gonna get a little bit of laugh. At least it’s something different than „I was born when I was small” and then „I have been into music since the procreation act of my parents” and now here we are, the next EP is ready for you! 

Four tracks, slower bpm’s - because fuck trends, lot’s of atmosphere - as usual, so one can call it hypnotic, sprinkled with modular synth - oh yes the buzz word, and did I already mention the groove? 
Now the cliché part about previous released being supported by: Richie Hawtin, Joseph Capriati, B Riley, Marrøn, Rene Wise, Funk D'Void, Developer, Takaaki Itoh and many more - and we have just completed the release description. Piotr Figiel - music producer, live act performer and dj from Krakow, Poland. Formely known for DCM and Peter Feegle projects, since 2014 Piotr performs under his own name, focusing his work mostly on techno, IDM and hardware based live acts. His music has always been an eclectic mixture of different influences, original sound design and great sound. Piotr’s work has been released on many Polish and international labels, among many dj and live act club gigs, Piotr also performed at Street Art Festival, Ars Cameralis Festival, Tauron Nowa Muzyka and was honoured to play on the legendary Instytut festival in Warsaw back in 2017. Piotr has been hosting the „Essentia Electronica” radio show at Off Radio Krakow station in 2015-2021. The show became one of the most important promotion hubs for the local electronic music scene, artists, collectives and clubs in Krakow. Piotr also works as a producer, mixing and mastering engineer, helping many artists to achieve the dreamed sound of their records.
