Featuring artists around Mid-Michigan, the Misfit Jazz Band plays styles of: Swing, Blues, Latin, Funk, Bop, etc. Formed in 2016 the artists have been honing their skills through the performance and practice of songs from the 1920's to present day. These are there records.

February 17th marked our first big concert. Lapeer Michigan brought us to a new level as a group. This is our first set of the night. Followed up by one other set to follow up one of the most memorable nights of our musician's lives.

A Quintet dominantly out of the Lansing Area, has made headlines with the Pix Theatre and the Concert of Colors. The members of the group play jazz standards for the most part, while offering each individual's personality to their part. A big thing that separates this group from some more commonly out there are the comping and soloing styles of all of the instruments put together. The group makes decisions together of which songs they would like to perform, in hopes to ensure that the players are having just as much fun as the audience.
