Hot on the heels of the A-Sides Volume 5 compilation, Enrico Sangiuliano makes his return to Drumcode with his highly anticipated EP ‘Moon Rocks’. The heavy hitting four track EP shines a light on Sangiuliano’s tight, thundering production skills. The hoover heavy lead track ‘Moon Rocks’ is packed with booming percussion, intricate synths and brooding crescendos. For our next release we look south to two of Italy’s finest exports and rising stars: Luigi Madonna and Roberto Capuano. Both hailing from the coastal city of Naples, the two have been on fire for some time now and their ‘Midfield’ EP is a perfect representation of their approach and sound that is winning dancers the world over. Kicking things off is the title track ‘Midfield’ with infectious percussion, hefty drums and an absolutely unforgettable lead that will, without any doubt, create full on dance floor mayhem. ‘Wendy’ follows up with rapid fire drumming and a soul drenched vocal laid over a booming kick drum resulting in a simple yet highly effective sonic excursion. Rounding out the EP is ‘Dark Soul’ which does the job using only percussive elements like racing shakers and colossal, crunchy impacts balanced perfectly with a lush vocal shot placed a few times throughout the track in the most effective moments. – In short, three stunning tunes from our Italian cohorts Luigi Madonna and Roberto Capuano to be played loud and often!

After taking the roof off 2 Misfit club events now, it seemed right for the Leeds based duo to showcase their slick Techno productions on the club's new record label. 
Paul Maddox & Rich Wakley's studio output as Spektre has continued to propel them to the upper echelons of the Techno world recently with releases on Drumcode, Tronic, Kraftek and Elevate, to name but a few. 
Lead track Gas Mask is a heavy duty slice of peak time Techno. Building atmospherics and precise percussion underpin the track while huge synth stabs and vocals samples build to create serious dancefloor destruction.
For remix duties, Misfit have drafted in Northern Irish Techno titans Loco & Jam. Their take retains all the peak time vibes of the original, but highlights their deeper, groovier style of Techno.
Completing the release is the dark and moody 'Decompression'. Stripped back to the bare essentials and as underground as it gets, the track is pounding and relentless in it's mission!

Spektre - Gas Mask (Loco & Jam Remix)

Making his debut on Drumcode in 2017 with his track ‘Fake’ featured on the A-Sides Vol 6 compilation, one of Brazil’s much loved exports Wehbba brings us his first full EP this February with ‘Eclipse’.

A no nonsense 4 track offering, and all thoroughly road tested by Adam, they have gained much support from longtime Drumcode fans. Eclipse, delivers a low end rumble along with a modulating synth line. Reigning high throughout the track, is the undeniably catchy and unique synth. Leaving this track one to be recognised on dancefloors all over the world.

‘Protocol’ doesn't turn down the pace, straight into a chugging hypnotic drive, this track leaks with attitude, along it’s eerie undertones.

Probably the most acid influenced track of the EP, ‘Glasswerk’ has a futuristic modular synth riff which thunders along a hypnotic bass line which flows nicely into ‘Framework’ to close out the EP. Its punchy and powerful kick sits alongside the cleverly crafted synth pattern, taking this track into a dark zone with a groovy element still resonant.

It’s safe to say it’s been too long since we last saw label bosses and heavy hitters Pan-Pot grace Second State with their ‘Solace’ EP back in November of 2016. So to have them back with two big bombs and a remix from the one and only Petter B on their ‘Funke’ EP curbs all anticipation from all of us who have been dying for new material.
Kicking things off is ‘Spitzer’ with hi-octane percussion and reverb heavy acoustics spanned out over ten minutes where simplicity rules and the age old saying that “less is more” has never been more accurate. Flipping sides we see the duo take a similar approach on “Funke” but deliver a rugged and brutally mesmerizing lead that coaxes the inner devil inside all of us. Rounding out the EP is a carefully curated remix from Gothenburg’s own and former Hertz collaborator Petter B who hands over a beautiful rendition of ‘Spitzer’ where dense, lavish atmospherics carry a heavy looping groove to a gorgeous climax. It’s good to have the boys back and we think you will agree when you hear their stunning new ‘Funke’ EP.

Paris-based DJ & producer AIROD aka Dario Brkic returns to Amelie Lens’ Lenske for his second 12” on the Belgian label, ‘Rave Cycle’.
