UK based DJ & producer Ronnie Spiteri rocks up on BLOND:ISH’s ABRA X imprint with a powerful two-track single ‘Rise’.

Spiteri has built his profile through key releases on labels such as Knee Deep In Sound, Altra Moda and BANDIDOS, as well as running his own Kenja label which has welcomed artists such as Darius Syrossian, Markus Homm, Josh Butler, and Reset Robot. A collaboration with fellow Brit Alan Fitzpatrick on the Positiva label surpassed 2 million streams. 

With his release for ABRA X, Spiteri explains “BLOND:ISH has been a huge supporter of my releases this year, in particular my Knee Deep In Sound EP, which definitely provided some inspiration for ‘Rise’. I made ‘Rise’ with her in mind, so I wanted to replicate the weighty bassline with that big vocal and drop that I know she loves. She reached out to me via DM a while back asking for promos, and when I’d finished ‘Rise’ I sent it straight to her; luckily she loved it and the rest is history! I love what she’s doing with the label and her events. It feels like there’s a wide spectrum of artists invited to showcase their unique sound, all doing what they do best; an eclectic vibe that allows you to express yourself and stand out, rather than getting lost in a crowd of DJs all playing the same thing.”
