For me, minimal techno is all about restraint with purpose. It’s not about throwing everything at the dancefloor—it’s about letting space breathe. Every kick, every click, every subtle shift in rhythm matters. It’s hypnotic. Precise. Meditative.

I love how it creeps under your skin without shouting. The groove builds slowly, teasing you with repetition, but never boring—because that’s where the magic lies: in the detail, in the tension, in the perfectly timed drop that feels like it was meant just for you.

As MishMatic, I’m drawn to minimal because it creates space for connection—between the sound, the moment, and the bodies moving together in sync. It invites surrender. And in that stripped-back simplicity, you find something raw, real, and totally absorbing.

Mishmatic formerly Adelaide-based, now Tasmania DJ known for her deep psy-techno and progressive Psytrance sets that reflect her journey from commercial club music to the underground. After discovering Psy-trance and minimal techno, Mishmatic found her true sound - raw, immersive, and unapologetic.

Her performances, blending progressive house, techno and psy-trance, create spaces where listeners lose themselves in the beat.

A resident DJ for TANZBAR (Berlin Techno organiser), Mishmatic has played for most of the local underground electronic music event organisers as listed on her highlights. 

Focused on expanding her Progressive Psy-Trance presence, Mishmatic aims to bring her authentic sound to global stages — connecting with crowds through music that speaks to the soul.
