De Pe La Noi series aims to go deep into the Romanian undeground to discover the beauty of this holy land and the amazing people that inhabit it. Each episode will feature a Romanian artist mixing only Romanian sounds and pointing out a few places and people that inspire him into his work. The series celebrates 100 years since The Great Union (1918), the moment that marked the birth of modern Romania.

Hipp, on his real name Stefan Rotaru is a young producer from Iasi, Romania. His unique style of production consists of groovy basslines marked with wicked percussions putting you on a deeply state of meditation while dancing on his beats. He already has several releases on in underground scene well known labels Tzinah Recordings, Vandalism Musique, Vivus Rec, Welter Records, Blumea, Arupa Music.

Our 4th "Live Sessions" comes from Russian virtuoso Finetune.

Externalizing phantasies from his imagination through a range of musical instruments, @MichaelDop's Finetune project has grown into a startling creative force. This is music that is born from a variety of emotional states. Communicated masterfully from within an artistic headspace in which improvisation is invariably welcome. As one of the founders of the famed Russian collective @SLOWDANCE, Michael’s story is one of an artist in its truest form. A curious and captivated mind that sees art as a way to travel to another world. As Finetune he draws on a multi-genre palette to explore these worlds. Utilizing everything from experimental electronics and ambient to IDM and house, as he conjures sonic spells that ebb and flow like the rivers themselves, or race and fly like the icy winds.

This exquisite set was recorded 'live' at Mutabor in Moscow for SLOWDANCE'S 12th Birthday back in August last year. We trust you'll find it as captivating as we do.
