Hello everyone, my name is Lina and I am back with a little snip of a track I have adored for a long long time, Horsepower by MDK and Doctor Vox or as he's known now: Thomas VX. This was one of my favourite tracks off of MDK's Rise album and I just HAD to topline one of my favourite parts of it.

I have been a fan of Morgan for as long as I can remember, he is, to date, my FAVOURITE producer of ALL time. Yes, I seriously sound like a crazy fangirl but I can't help it, the dude is an inspiration! This one was interesting to make.
First, I wanted to do a straight up remix (with the stems) and just flip it into a more chaotic DnB style with crazy rhythms, but the stems were down. Instead of just asking Xtrullor for them, I turned it into a remake with new sounds.
Second, people were talking about mixing on Lockyn's Discord, and whether EQing was really that important to the mix. Other than sound design (and beating the guitars into shape), I made this without any mixing EQs, just being careful with the volume levels.

SPACE INVADERS:

In a blinding flash of flames and light, the Phoenix spreads its wings and ascends towards the cosmos. A burning beacon of hope, in search of  an army to aid the Jelly Castle & fight back against these nightmarish creatures.

The horizon darkens. All is not over. Thunder echoes in the clouds overhead & crimson bolts of lightning illuminate the blood red skies. The Warrior of Wubstep grips his shield nervously, as he stares at the horrific scene before his eyes:

Ravenous beasts, as far as the eye can see.
A plague on the surface, a disgusting swarm in the skies.
With a crash of thunder, a new demon appears.
Unfurling its rotten wings, it lets out a petrifying scream...

Miss Lina is an aspiring female vocalist who is always pushing her singing to the next level.
