We are very excited to announce that our 55th podcast in the series comes from Lukea, his real name Lucas Morello who was originally from Toulouse, now established in Paris. It was when he arrived in the capital in 2016 that he soaked up the abundant culture of the electronic music scene and more particularly the minimal. Fascinated by this movement, he launched into production intensively and began to create his first releases. His music is inspired by synthwave and traditional music that he loves and is reflected in his music which offers this mix of organic and futuristic.

Lukea, on his real name is Lucas Morello, is an artist originally from and currently based in Toulouse in the south of France. 
From an early age, he had a particular penchant for percussion, which he discovered and loved through the travels he made, then immersed himself in the different cultures that gave him his very particular universe. 

Fascinated by this movement, he embarked intensively on electronic type production, merging his organic influences with a darker and futuristic bent. 

A few years later, he stood out through his productions as well as edits which proved to be a success and supported by many artists on the electronic scene and this will then open opportunities with different labels in Europe as well as in America such as Bohrium Ltd, Recordeep, Puls, Wonderground, Red District and dates everywhere such as Marrakech, Paris, Bucharest, Sofia, Belgrade, Luxembourg..

I am very passionate about music particularly melodic techno, techno, deep and progressive house. I also love some good breakbeats, minimal, jump-up and liquid dnb as well. This all started with my journey through trance (1998) which I still have much respect as it was the start to everything electronic that I now know today. Gotta respect your roots. Always.

I have a very open mind and love good music period - doesn't matter what genre. I think it is a mistake to only stick to one genre. Good music is good music and has been the catalyst to so much in my life.  Music is home. Music connects us all. 🖤
