Like every story, This Boy That Girl has lots of them - and with over 13 mixes over the years I could write a book! So we decided to start giving away some of the mixes before the official release, and with this mix in particular Id like to tell you how it came about…

The first mix I want to give to you as a thank you for liking my page is also a thank you to a wonderful lady, Sarah Monument for the first free remix of TBTG. This lady is going to go far!!

I met Sarah by chance last year outside The Elgin, Notting Hill with Billy Idle. We chatted, I thought she was lovely, and I hoped to see her again. A few weeks later at Billy’s, he played a CD with a track I loved. It was part of a mix CD of Sarah’s. I asked if she could remix and it turned out Sarah had just finished a music course and was ready to start her own. She was exited and humble. She’s a pretty hot DJ - so I thought it only natural she’d know how to make something people would feel good with, and so she has.

A couple of months later we had the Girl on Fire mix by Miss Monument. A cool, pop, break beat – the first vocal mix from Sarah. Wonderful, light-hearted, soft, yet hard and with a subtle feminine touch. I have to say that I’m happy to have given Sarah this song as this mix is fun, carefree and good for any party. So... we hope you enjoy it ! Thank you, for a great job on the first vocal mix.You’re on fire, girl!

Straight in with the hard techno kick and anticipation, there’s a frenzy that sits behind it all and you just want to melt into it while having a proper techno stomp.
 
7.  Bionic Jungle - Marcal / Enemy Records
Tribal techno that just keeps rolling without getting too monotonous or too hard, casting a trance over the dancefloor..
 
8. Charger – Dustin Zahn, Marcal / RSPX
Techno that just chugs away constantly, with scatterings of acid while transporting you into a different zone, or planet even. 
 
9. Elements - Altinbas / RX Recordings
Another progressive techno track that just constantly gives, this one keeps the dancefloor focused and ready.
 
10. Energy – Chicago Loop / Resilient Recordings
Pounding techno, building acid – it does exactly what it says on the tin!
