Dany is an artist I met in Chicago, IL through another Esh (e-shh!) the singer.  I immediately loved his rhythmic lyrics and singing style and worked with him to compose and produce a few songs.  Here is a song we did together called, “Bender”  He had the lyrics ready, but I wanted to give the song a different feel.

Beauty As God(dess) with Our Lady J

I wrote this song and poured my heart out on the piano to describe the kind of heartlessness I was experiencing.  I left the love of my life because something deep down inside said, "you are worth more and deserve more than this."  Being transgender, I had given my heart to a man for almost 8 years who did not have the capacity to love me in the face of all the odds against us.  When his heart left so did mine and I for a while I felt weak, like I didn't have the heart to go on.  This is the kind of heartlessness that drove me deeper, forcing me to ask myself some very hard questions, and helping me to revive and rediscover my own strength.
