Pretty voice and some beautiful music - nice and soothing - the track kinda could just go on forever. Good work.

Introduction in English:
A few years ago, one of my best friends almost died as a result of his alcohol addiction. One autumn day, almost exactly 20 years ago, I wanted to visit him in his small Berlin apartment, because I had not been able to reach him by phone for days and he did not respond to my mails. I was very worried about him. 
Since the door was open, I was able to get into his apartment, which was completely devastated and partly badly damaged. 
As I heard later, he had gone completely crazy after a repeated alcoholic excess. Neighbors had called the police, who then took him to the closed psychiatric ward. 
This low point in his life also meant a decisive turning point for him. Since that day, he has remained sober and has not touched a drop of alcohol. 
During one of our musical jam sessions this year, he asked me to write a song that would help him to better understand this time of self-destruction and to integrate it more into his life story. 
The result is this song "Naked".....

Fun fact, in childhood I was always impressed by those pianists walking blazing fast thru the keys. Here in the bridge (1:41-2:14)I "did it". Not on a piano keys. On Push 2. Also put into a scale. Quickly running up and down on 5x5 grid ... not really knowing what I'm doing :) Dreams come true, she is getting near! 

Lead synth is Arturia OP-Xa VST also played on Push 2 pads, no programming. Some Polybrute, few Pigments lines, and IK Syntronik. With lotsa FabFilter Pro-C, Pro-Q3, Timeless. Also thought it would be a good idea to do all four seasons and recruited three pianists to complete the cycle. I spent seventeen long winters in Stockholm. Funnily enough the most challenging season to me was always spring with all the false starts and long hiatuses. By the time it’s May and you can reasonably expect some warmish weather (defined as over 50F) it inevitably snows and destroys your planned weekend bike ride, or maybe you just have to keep your down jacket in the closet a few more weeks and leave your lighter clothes at the back of the closet. Of course, spring is the beginning of a period of more fun and games. Hopefully you can hear the pull between spring trying to break through and winter lingering on in this music.

This is a performance with no post recording edits. It is entirely in Gm except for 1 note intended to denote a dissonant interruption. I wonder who can locate that B.

Personal Borealis

Introduction in English:
Over 30 years ago, I did a six-week hitchhiking trip in Ireland. Right at the beginning of the tour I met Ian and we hitchhiked through the beautiful Emerald Isle. 
We quickly discovered that we were both stuck in completely hopeless love affairs. He in London and me in Berlin. Both of us didn't want to admit it for a long time. Now, after countless attempts to save our relationship, we had fled to Ireland. 
I described my rescue efforts as a "Himmelfahrtskommando“. But there is no real equivalent for this German pun in English. The closest thing is "Suicide Mission". And so we came to call our community of fate "Suicide-Himmelfahrt-Mission". 
After this unforgettable tramp journey we always stayed in contact with each other. 
Until earlier this year, Ian's mother informed me that he had died unexpectedly of a heart attack. 
Accordingly, I dedicate this song to my friend Ian, who passed away much too soon. 
In the first part I sing the chorus in German. In the second part I imagine how the almost always cheerful jazz friend Ian would have sung the verses and the chorus. And in the third part, I imagine how the two of us would have sung the chorus together.

"Circus Reinvented" was the title of the track with which we opened our first LP "The reality is never enough". Commemorating its 10th anniversary we have revised and modified some instruments, effects, arrangements and mixes, not much, but enough to make it look a little different.
