Deborah Kathleen Murphy (Miss Beats) first started her musical journey at the age of 9 as a Bedroom Jungle DJ. It was not until the age of 17  that she spent 3 years discovering her underlying talent and moved on to Music Production. 
She attended DJ Academy in Luton where, with incredible support from her tutors, she became familiar with computer based production, enabling her to unleash her full potential. With this, in 2009 saw the release of her first single Grime Girl. In 2010 she released her first mixtape A Silent Mouth Is Most Melodical, which ranged Grime, Rap and Dubstep to soothing classical pieces. 
2013 sees the release of her first album as BADMNKY.
