We're incredibly happy to present a very special Lobster podcast from multidisciplinary artist, DJ, writer and academic Ifeoluwa. The founder of INTERVENTION/Ipaadi Records evokes visions of the club, with an hour long mix that glides seamlessly through drum workouts and feel good pop and UKG bangers to tender synth lines, simmering electro and transcendental breaks.

Missing Tapes 001 : CcC

Catu Diosis is up next with an hour of upbeat Ugandan music from kuduro and afro house to acholi. Catu Diosis is a Kampala based DJ and member of the Nyege Nyege collective and is currently based in Cologne. While on tour in Europe in March Uganda introduced travel restrictions in and out of the country but this very talented individual (who not only DJ's but also produces and is a professional dancer) has taken it in her stride and is doing a one year internship for Migrafrica in Germany while also running a DJ workshop locally called Dope Gal Africa to encourage Black and African women, a demographic who are currently under represented in the DJ world, to learn the craft. Massive thanks to Catu for sending us this wild mix.

Missing Tapes 003 : Catu Diosis

Next up in the mix series is multifaceted artist Astrid Gnosis. Astrid was the last DJ to play at our party at La Cheetah Club, Glasgow pre lockdown and had quite the effect on the crowd who basically ripped the booth apart while dancing so hard. The Valencian has great affection for Scotland and Scottish comedian Limmy in particular who's responsible for the vocal sample 'Gnosis' that features throughout the mix. Expect pure hardcore power!

Missing Tapes 004 comes from none other than Italian born and Berlin based, Madalba. The Buttons DJ / co-organiser is know for long sets, always playing vinyl and impeccable selections. Missing Tapes 005 sees Jasmine Infiniti bring her wild and intense style to the mix series. Jasmine was born in the Bronx, New York and grew up in the ballroom scene. Her DJ roots lay in Oakland, California where she and friends started the party and now label 'New World Dysorder' that centres trans creatives, performers, and musicians. Jasmine also released an album of absolute fire 'BXTCH SLÄP' earlier this year so be sure to check that out on Bandcamp. Big thanks to Jasmine for sending us this mix.

DECENNIUM24 - Rory Kelly (Das Booty)

The 24th edition of our DECENNIUM series comes courtesy of local legend, Rory Kelly, founder of our good friends Das Booty London.

DJing for over 20 years, Rory has been a pivotal figure in the London underground scene for many years and was one of the founding members of the Oldskool night Distant Planet. In 2018 he founded his club night / collective Das Booty, which he has led to great heights in recent times, showcasing his undying passion for Electro, Techno, Ghetto-Tech, Miami Bass, Hip-Hop, Oldskool Hardcore, Acid, Breaks, etc. Das Booty have hosted the likes of Jerome Hill, Dexorcist, Warlock, Altar, Ben Pest, etc. along with our resident Osc Kins and a recent guest radio set from our co-founder Kodah. In addition to their contributions to the rave community, they have also recently took the next step to becoming a record label in 2020. Rory and Das Booty deserve massive respect for their huge drive and commitment to the London underground scene.

With this exclusive mix for our DECENNIUM series, Rory has lived up to the high-velocity, ferociously energetic vibes one can always expect from a sweaty Das Booty rave and we'd strongly advise getting this blasted as loud as possible.
