Olivia Burke is a 12 year old singer songwriter from the Midlands. Her song “Missing” was inspired by the story of missing Madeleine McCann and is being released to raise awareness and funds for MISS (Missing In Ireland Support Services)

Don Mescall has been partly responsible as a songwriter for sales of more than 6 million records worldwide, penning hit songs for artists such as Rascall Flatts, The Backstreet Boys, Ronan Keating, American Idol contestant Clay Aiken, Boyzone, Canada’s Idol winner Theo Tams, to name but a few.
In an act of solidarity with families of those missing and as a way of raising awareness and much needed funds for this essential service, Don wrote and recorded “Missing”.

Every year thousands of people are reported missing in Ireland.
Thankfully the vast majority of these people are successfully traced, but there is also the harsh reality that many families are left with an empty space in their home, a hole in their hearts and an endless stream of unanswered questions because for some families, their loved one remains missing . 
MISS (Missing in Ireland Support Service) is a non-profit organisation who operate the National Missing Persons Hotline and provide essential resources, emotional support and hope to the families of those missing. MISS work closely with An Garda Siochana and community based organisations to provide these vital services and also to try raise awareness of missing people in Ireland. MISS rely on the generosity of the publicto support their services, which are provided by a dedicated team free of charge to families of those missing.
In an act of solidarity with families of those missing and as a way of raising awareness and much needed funds for this essential service, critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Don Mescall and 12 year old Olivia Burke both wrote and recorded tracks with the title “Missing” unknown to each other. Now Don and Olivia are joining forces and releasing their singles together for MISS.
