London-based Shane Mahon is an artist who we have been keeping tabs on for some time, he has spent a number of years crafting his sound into one of the scene’s hottest up-and-coming producers. 

Shane’s signature fast BPM, energy yielding tracks have helped him to create an identifiable sound in the Deep House & Minimal community, many of his releases can be heard on his label @manipulatedfrequency.

𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙜𝙚 is a contrast between emotion and groove. The track’s mood is set from the off through its rolling bass, paired with soulful driving chords, all glued together with tight drums, and a powerful vocal which is very relevant to what we need in life right now.

A year ago I had never touched a turntable before. 

This is the first rehearsed mix I have ever made. Featuring mixer effects, (at one point 3 tracks at once around 20 minutes - you can probs tell cuz its not the smoothest work Ive ever done)and a bit of pad fx.
So thankful for London Sound Academy for introducing me to what is arguably the most fun hobby ever.
