Bio:
Ollis (atree) passion for music started with putting together mixed cds for friends and himself when he was a teenager.
His interest in vinyl and the surrounding culture started in 2003 after getting in touch with the reggae / dub scene these days. Soon after he started playing his records in a soundsystem based in the very southern part of Germany.
With time passing by he got more and more focused on electronic music which evolved to the first own productions and a dj project with one of his best mates. After his partner had to quit for becoming a chef Olli started his solo project atree in 2013.

Now settled at his home in Northern Ireland, after several years tasting the fruits of the hedonistic charms of Berlin. Darren Allen is a producer of immense talent and understanding. His music stands as a reflection of two decades of under the radar involvement, carrying with it a distinct and unic personality. Plying the delicate layers of electronic music that have been lain down over the decades, he weaves his own blistering take on electronic music in its various forms. His label Underlying Form which launched in 2015 connect's a close-knit online music community and party series of the name, and in the time since he's been a busy man. Releasing multiple solo EPs for the likes of heavyweights @Discobar-label and appearing on VA compilations for imprints such as @Voicelessrecords, @SmallhoursBerlin, and Frankfurts vinyl shop and label @Gosugosugosu. Recently celebrating the release of his debut album 'Babylon' a double 12" on @UnderlyingForm, he's continued his quest to channel timeless music through his craft. Readying a soon to be released 4-tracker on Future Plans.

With meticulous dedication to his unique studio productions and versatile DJ sets, Voigtmann quickly gained popularity in the underground party scene and acquired the respect of his peers. After completing his mission with his previous label and party series Toi Toi Musik, Voigtmann went off seeking new musical challenges with the label Subsequent, on which he is releasing his debut LP Sublunary this September. His new brilliant podcast for Meoko is dreamy and ingenious; the one-hour recording evolves in a truly natural way touching various influences from micro-house to UK garage, and feels like the perfect soundtrack for morning sunrise after a heavy night out. We are happy to present his Meoko mix with an interview, discussing his new record and upcoming projects.

Cristi Turodache, better known as Melodie, has deservedly earned his status as one of the most exciting talents to emerge from Bucharest’s scene. Over the past five years, Melodie has injected the scene with a vibrant, fresh sound, incorporating new influences and exploring new terrain. His polished, and continually forward-thinking productions, can be found on coveted releases across some of the scene’s most respected labels: Metereze, RORA, and Vivus, among many others. While his output positioned him at the vanguard of a new wave of Romanian talent, Melodie’s biography offers only a small glimpse of dedication to his craft. We are incredibly honored to welcome Melodie to our podcast series with two hours recorded from his set Saturday 9th of March 2019 at Club Eden. The podcast is a testament to Melodie’s ability to create a sense of coherence amidst vast stylistic and emotional diversity. Traversing mind-melting textures from a range of genres and soundscapes, this mix is an escapist's delight begging the listener to get lost it.

Episode #76: Javier Carballo

Originally from Spain, Demika spent 14 years living in London. Her love for House and Techno music began in the early 2000’s when the London scene was thriving. All those nights and days burning dancefloors and connecting with like-minded people at some of the city's most influential clubs like The end, The Cross, Sosho, 93 Feet East, Cable and Fabric, flared up her inspiration and thirst to be the one behind the decks. 

She sank into the scene in 2009 and quickly gained respect in the underground music community thanks to her dedication and her own unique style. Since then, she’s been playing in clubs all over London, Europe and most recently New Zealand, where she moved a few years back. Her sets are hypnotic and captivating, always packed with groovy-baselines and floor-filling thumping tracks going from Deep-Tech to Techno, Micro House and Minimal, which are probably the styles that best define her. Her idea of inspiration? “ Everywhere around me, everything inspires me in different ways. Life and moods play a big part in the way I play and perceive music ”.
