3 Steps Ahead 

This name is familiar to anyone who loves early hardcore. One of the most formative acts in the hardcore scene. Peter-Paul Pigmans, as his real name was, played on all major stages of the hardcore scene in the 90s and impressed many thousands of gabbers with his unmistakable style. He was one of the few acts in this scene to achieve commercial chart success with tracks like "Drop It" and "It's Delicious". 

Unfortunately, he died in 2003 after a long period of cancer. In the early scene, his music is still very important today and enjoys legendary status. 

Since he's a legend for me too, I honor him today with my new mix.
