“Circle of Light” is the new and original collection of songs from Miss Kristin at Big Fuss Records, arriving in stores Worldwide June 24, 2022. The thirteen-song set is both creative and spontaneous and comes from a place of peace and beauty, inspiring inner harmony, and joy to all who listen.

The music has an organic, modern, and soulful folk sound, that defies category, but is instantly relatable. “Circle of Light” is a free-flowing journey where Kristin’s open heart invites listeners in, to become one with Spirit and surroundings. The tracks have a role to invigorate and revitalize.

“Circle Of Light” is pure heart and soul. The music is self-produced by Kristin who also performs instruments and records vocals on all songs. She confidently blends acoustic guitars with piano, bass, drum programming and percussions to manifest a collection of interesting and poignant tunes. “Touch Me” is the single track on the album, where Kristin did not play all instruments. Tom Landry steps in on bass guitar here for the groove-oriented original, that emanates comfort and is easy to listen to.

The thirteen songs on “Circle Of Light” are a journey through Kristin’s experience of abundant living. The set opens with “Alive”. A song where Kristin pronounces that she is alive and well and feeling no fear or pain. “Alive” sings of being set free from past hurts and like a caterpillar becoming a butterfly, being fully transformed. “Light Of The Moon” enters the mix with a deep jazzy feel, where lyrics sing of both the darkness and the beauty in the world. Kristin closes the set with the timeless “Signs Of Love”,  conveying that the signs are all around us. 

Kristin is a music producer who seldom repeats herself. She is a lyricist with a wealth of ideas for original songwriting, not based on a set of rules, but by her own inspiration. She is an artist who penned over 2000 songs, and recognized early, the need for self-production, to create, release and perform her music. This freedom to work according to her own rules and timelines, is important to Kristin as an artist. 

Kristin states, “When a songwriter can create, in a way where they can sustain, this is the real success in music.” And Kristin goes on to say, “Its necessary to find a way to do what you love, in your art, and in the world, without the noise of others, telling you it must be done this way or that way. Today’s music industry is broken. Artists are not being paid fairly with streaming leading the charge. And often album projects become “vanity” projects, with big investments and little returns.”
