Dr. Lucreccia Quintanilla is a high achiever, her musical interests lay heavily in Latin music and its sub genres, her sound system ‘General Feelings Sound System’ Is Australia’s first women-led sound system. The system was built in 2014 out of bits and pieces from The Tote, bits brought from Heartical Hi-Powa and some original 1960’s scoops from VAC Jazz department. 

Quintanilla uses music to tell stories, ‘a mode of knowledge transference’ through sound. “Small, but wholesome and esteemed” those fortunate enough to see the bright green stack in full affect, or catch a DJ set, know how important Quintanilla is to Melbourne’s music and arts community.
