This track needs work I reckon, but will eventually feature in our 'electrical' once that is all up and running. (I'll explain another time) But I thought it was worth sharing! 

She digs for hearts

This is a lovely little song about a caterpillar, most of which is backwards, I quite like it...it features 3 of my favourite things, recorders, megaphone and caterpillars so I'm happy about that.

I was working on this track before my computer gave me the blue screen of death ever since which I have not been able to access any of the tracks I was working on. So I am uploading a rough mix I had saved before all of this, should I ever recover my work from before this incident I will most certainly finish this as it is a cover of a great song by Tom Waits which I absolutely love and too much work went into it to not really. For example the harmonicas featured are played by Elisha (Electric Farmer) Millard and Matt (the artist) Lloyd in a call/answer improvised one-take solo, and considering 1. this was Elisha's grand debut on harmonica and 2. Neither harmonicas were in a suitable key, it aint half bad sounding!! The saxophone solo was myself, and the "pub chorus" at the end features any unlucky subjects who dared to visit our house that fortnight (including Matt Lloyd, Wolverhamptons own promo genius and artist Bash, and my very own mother!). The Tom Waits vocal samples that you can hear lyrically and as part of the percussion are taken from the original track and another genius track of his called "circus" (dont be fooled-he is not featured in the end chorus-Matt just sounded alot like him in recording, I am quite jealous that I as a girl cannot sound more like Tom Waits). I really enjoyed it and wish I had been able to do a better main vocal take but it was not to be...I was too busy persuading the rest of the world to sing for me at the time!.  If I ever recover those darn ableton files I promise I will tart it up like the high class whore that it is! And if anyone knows how to recover ableton files after Blue screen of death please PLEASE let me know! Many thanks anyway....hope it's not too rough for y'all...x

Don't Panic (MX1)

I started playing with computer music about a year ago, before that I used to just record vocals and build all vocal songs and versions of other songs, which i hope to share one day too, but they're still a bit crap to be honest, interesting, but crap. Production-wise I'm pretty amateur but I quite like all the weird noises and rough patches that I've stumbled across on the way. Sometimes I try and do something and it ends up completely different, but I wouldn't change it! There are loads of songs I want to put up but for one reason or another I have not-maybe there are just so many great producers out there I worry my little accidents aren't too great, but the most important thing is that I quite like them- and I promise to keep sharing the ones I am excited about.
