About some of the stupid adjectives and long winded detail they can go into. Based on when Jilly Goolden was presenting Food and Drink. I grew up on her. Shame I didn't grow up drinking what she was describing. Then maybe I would've been drunk enough to forget it.

I am a contemporary performance poet. My stuff works better when recited, as I can rely on assonance and the manipulation of cadence to make things that, if were to be read not said, may seem clunky or be lost altogether. 
My strengths are versatility, delivery and my confidence, while weaknesses are not being able to read a crowd as well as I would like, not enough readpieces and arrogance... 
One day I would like to be known for the right reasons.
Not that many hits so far. Hmm, odd that. Maybe all you good people could help me out?
