Matthew Beer, better known as Mistah B or sometimes Beast Mode B, is an underground hip hop emcee, producer, lyricist and sound engineer from Adelaide, South Australia, starting out as just a writer in 2005. His 12th upcoming mixtape release, Mental Agony, will feature some of his most personal feelings about a range of subjects including his long fight with depression and mental illness, drug addiction, suicide, near death experiences, life struggles, broken friendships and the state of hip hop & society just to name a few, and the front cover artwork itself, a photograph taken from his most recent mental health ward visit. In April 2018, he announced the establishment of Beast Mode Productions, currently offering production, mixing, mastering, graphic design/album cover work, stating long term goals of video production and interest in starting an independent label. Also in mid-late 2018, Mistah B joined frequent collaborator and Hip Hop associate, Hidden, of Fort Worth, Texas, as an affiliate of his HRS Underground collective.
