It felt good to be back after being away from the studio for 4 weeks. We've been traveling for the past month spreading The Sound of Tomorrow at SXSW, WMC, and now Asia. The pros of being away for so long meant that Joe stacked up on plenty of music for the past month which makes up for the lost time, trust. There is too much to say and talk about but shout out to all of the amazing people who came out to our shows to see and connect with us. We are very grateful! 

Next week Joe Kay wiil be @ Coachella but that won't stop Soulection Radio this time. Stay tuned.

To have a pioneer such as Rhettmatic of the legendary beat Junkies Crew grace us with a 50 minute set + an in depth interview, just validates how the pioneers and new generation are merging to come together as one; no ego. Rhett is definitely one of the most humble guests we've had on here and is more connected than anyone really knows. Do yourself a favor and get mentally prepared to learn a lot. It's an interesting point in time where Soulection is right now.. we have all the leverage that we need going into 2015 but there is a concern... and that concern is where will the sound direction go in 2015? If you've been to our live shows, you may have noticed a lot of energy and turn up vibes but where is the balance of soul music? This is something that I try to inject and keep in rotation within the radio show. Without soul music there is no Soulection. Can't forget our roots. Your'e gonna hear a lot of classic D'Angelo, Erykah, classics, and overall just good vibes. Someone has to keep the vibe alive.
