Mr. Kuskie, the MC/DJ for his own "The Magic Shop" label was born and raised in Central Trinidad. He has always had a passion for music, as he would eagerly watch and listen to other MC's at different events, and even recorded live weekend shows from local radio stations ever since he could remember. After meeting up with 5Star Akil in 1999, part of the former group associate degree sound system, he knew right then that the microphone was his tool of choice.
After migrating to Toronto in 2001, Mr Kuskie has been on a quest to get into the industry some how. Then In 2006, he started off as an MC for the duo group "Soca Syndicate" on an internet radio station "www.thefrontlineradio.com." In 2008, Mr Kuskie had advance his skill level to DJ and started his own mid morning show titled "Brunch with Mr. Kuskie" which in turn gave birth to the critically acclaimed show titled "The Magic Shop" where he has earned the name "The Love Doctor", for the way he would connect to entertain and sooth his listeners through the music.
Today he is known as "The Magician" because not only are his shows full of surprises, but one never knows when and where he will appear on any given day. Mr. Kuskie plays a wide range of music which includes Soca, Hip Hop, RnB, House, Reggae, Dancehall, Top 40's and everything in between because he believes music is a universal language and NO DJ should discriminate by sticking to one genre.
