This is our latest single off of the "Indie Nerd Strikes Again" EP. 
The song was written a few years ago so it's not directly about the current state of the world. But our lyricist Jonathan said:

“...I think we all know that this industry will never be the same after the pandemic, and I’d like to think we’re all at the point where we have to approach it with a bit of humor to survive it. Combined with the images of a sort of “bygone era” we think the words really reflect how a lot of us are feeling about the future of our scene, but with a snarky willingness to move forward and start over, to rebuild it better than it was before.”

“This song is part of a fictional concept. Imagine that it takes place in an alternate universe in which our own version of Randall Flagg, the character from the Stephen King novels, was to travel through 4 songs that spanned several Mister Vertigo records. The character is the antithesis of us really and yet there is some sense of personal thoughts that influenced the main character in a comical sense. It really is part of our ridiculous sense of humor and being proud super nerds. The lyrics are meant to be pure sarcasm, a pun, tongue in cheek, a joke in almost every way. I mean, you really can't say something "sucks" when what that something is, is exactly what you are hearing. Plus it's the thing we all love the most as a band.”
