DJ Krome & Mr Time - The License [Mr Duffy's Chillstep Remix]

So around 1997 happy hardcore was all the rage. This was one of a number of productions I put together inspired by the genre. I don't know if anyone else ever did a happy hardcore version of Baby D's 'Let Me Be Your Fantasy' so here you go.

Another track inspired by the UK club scene. It blends 'Do That To Me' by the Lisa Marie Experience with Perpetual Motion's 'Keep on Dancin'.

Original vocal samples from the Michael Jackson track sampled in 'Do That To Me' plus additional snippets from 2 Unlimited.

Fast-paced, house mix of Serious Danger's 'Deeper', released in 1997 - one of my all-time favourite garage tracks. Added a piano line and some synth stabs. A bit more uplifting than the original, which was fairly dark. In a good way.

The Matrix [Purist Mix]

Mental track written in Scream Tracker 3 at a house party in Dagenham in about 1995 I think.  Only uploaded so the co-author, Nick, can listen to it again. I don't recommend anyone else does.

This is the 16 channel version - I think my computer was too slow to process more than 4 channels until I acquired a Gravis Ultrasound.

JJ's House Party [Original Remake]

Drum & bass remix of Erykah Badu's soulful track 'On & On'. I feel like this was never really finished instrumentally.

Studio mixes and radio show recordings are on my Mixcloud page. These are my old productions, from 1993 to 2002. Initial releases were under the name DJ Fastrax, then DJ Duffy, and later productions were as in-effect.

All tracks were engineered using either Scream Tracker or Impulse Tracker and then released via the Internet.

Maybe I'll start writing again someday...
