Just noodling around and programming/mixing some drums in SD2 because I've had tendon surgery and can't play much guitar at the moment. I recorded a cover of Misha's B6 test riff that became Remain Indoors on PIII but it's not all that interesting.

Covered the intro to Misha's Blackmachine B6 test riff. I can't really play anything more complicated at the moment as I've had tendon surgery and I'm sewn up like something out of a Tim Burton film.

I'm tuned a semitone up from Misha's tuning of AGCFAD.

Work in progress for Northfield based on an old riff that I revisited this morning. Retracked a few bits here and there and revamped the drums and bass completely. Strummin' strings, pushin' buttons and twiddlin' knobs. \m/

Bass:  Ignite TS-999 -> Logic EQ -> Logic Space designer with Sneap IR.

Overall mix maximised with Ozone 5

New track from this week. I've had a couple of these riffs kicking around for a while but wrote some new parts to link them.

Drums are XLN Audio Addictive - all manually sequenced.
Bass is sequenced (quite poorly) in Logic using the 'Attitude bass'. I'm hopefully going to be getting hold of a cheap 4-string (there doesn't seem to be such a thing as a cheap 5) soon so I can track bass live.

Guitar signal chain is Ibanez RG550 - Focusrite saffire LE - Amplitube 3 (Tube screamer, low gain 5150 - dual cabs - parametric EQ - tube compressor).
Lead tone is practically the same but with delay, reverb and EQ'd slightly differently.
