Dave Edwards takes on Whethan & Flux Pavilion's "Savage"

I absolutely loved this track from the first time I heard it. MAX’s vocal is perfect - poppy but not formulaic, melodic but not over-produced - which is incredibly hard to do.  Whethan and Flux Pavilion crushed the production and the original just has so much raw, unfiltered energy and power.  With the original going so far in an aggressive, edgy direction, I thought there was a great opportunity to remix this and put it in a more melodic pop format.  I knew this vocal could shine and take on a totally different vibe over the right chord progression, and I love how this one turned out.  Massive drums, huge sub bass, and a melody that will be stuck in your head for days - you can expect to hear a lot more of that from me in 2017 😃
