This is Brothers and Sisters, a summary of the sound of Mister Saturday Night Records to date. The album brings together all the artists who've released on the label – Alex Burkat, Anthony Naples, Archie Pelago, Boya, Dark Sky, General Ludd, Gunnar Haslam, Hank Jackson, Keita Sano and Lumigraph – combining music made specifically for this record and tracks that have until now only been available on vinyl.

Dark Sky - IYP

Back at our mammoth Stay True Scotland broadcast earlier this month, one track came real close to bringing The Caves' roof down during Nina Kraviz's powerhouse headline set. "I Wanna Go Bang" very nearly executed its titular statement – well, if the song was more about wrecking balls and less about...oh, never mind.

The vocals that stalk the track, so wholly devoid of humanity, rub up against razor-sharp claps and serious bounce in the subs. It's weighty warehouse techno of the highest order, set to devastate dark basements and big tents alike throughout the year. Simply put: Icelandic producer Bjarki has delivered a bomb.

Welcome to the raw, unfiltered sound of Knocked Bass House. This is music built for the darkest corners of the club, where every beat is a physical hit. We strip away the fluff and focus on a relentless, percussive bassline and a no-frills, driving groove. It's a sound that's heavy, hypnotic, and designed to move you with pure, visceral force.

Sinister, throbbing riffs and shuddering bass come in heavy supply, as do the mischievous melodies and driving percussion. There's a reason Anna is doing so well at the moment and this track sums up why.

Premiere: Anna 'Odd Concept'

As we promised, Ellen Allien is back. The BPitch Control boss' latest instalment is the Turn Off Your Mind EP, comprising of two raw, unpolished tracks of pure techno magic produced on a Roland Aira TR-8, TVB 303 and a Jupiter Synth in Ellen's living room. The EP evokes music time travel – most reminiscent of her time spent DJing at E-Wrk, Planet and Tresor in 1990s Berlin. On the A-side sits 'Hoo'. A rolling 8:08 time span of kaleidoscopic acid-soaked patterns and a cyclical bass line, all generous on the reverb. Despite a low tessitura, 'Hoo's moments of euphoria are still palpable. Ellen brings the sheer joy and thrill back to Berlin techno.

29th April is the due date to turn up your speakers and Turn Off Your Mind. Grab it on Beatport a little earlier, from 18th April.

Bulgarian producer KiNK follows up releases on Pets Recordings and Running Back with his take on the 'Accident In Paradise', adding a whole new level of weirdness.

But who said weird is a bad thing? The whacky synths and squiggly rhythms he injects into this are the kind we love, so when the epic string work and rattling tribal drums seeped in on our first listen, we instantly stamped it with that A* grade.

"April 2015, Agrume released the track “WHISKY” as part of the Citron Vert EP. With up to 1.2 millions streams on Spotify, “WHISKY” has been one of the tracks he is particularly proud of, as it is the literal translation of his love for the jazzy Deep House genre.

That's why he decided a few years later to compose a follow up called “MORE WHISKY”. This time, he asked Betsalel to join him and play the Fender Rhodes: a pretty inspired idea as the legendary keyboard adds more vintage colour to the jazzy vibe of the EP. Such a delight for us."
