Jesse Dewlow has been releasing hypnagogic music under the name People Skills (Siltbreeze, Blackest Ever Black, Kashual Plastik) for more than a decade. This year he opened his output to include family band Eyes of the Amaryllis who have their first LP via London's powerhouse Horn of Plenty label coming out this week. For Wavering Forms  he compiled this mix of EotA approximate influences to celebrate the release.

Wavering Forms 45 - People Skills

This set was recorded in the National Park of Circeo on the 24.8.22 a few meters away from the Tyrrhenian Sea. There were 60 people audience lying on the sand, a few candles and a 4+1 Turbosound system.
I played my own productions including a few unreleased tunes.
Thanks to "Le Passeggiate Poetiche" and Exotique.it for making this possible.

On Friday 7th October, Danish ambient artist Sofie Birch and Polish experimental singer Antonina Nowacka will release a collaborative album via Unsound and Mondoj. To celebrate they’ve now joined forces for an Unsound Podcast featuring some of their favourite music and influences, including Alice Coltrane, Enya, the soundtrack of Tarkovsky’s Andrei Rublev and a special rework of their morning performance at last year’s Unsound into a lush ambient meditation.

Seja talks to her guest Cash Savage about the new album So This is Love, the process of letting go of songs and connecting with one’s audience. Cash tells Seja about writing in interesting time signatures, the loss of identity during lockdown and some of her superstitions around live shows. They chat about the camaraderie in bands, games on tour and vocal heroes. 

Cash’s strange show story was illustrated by Nick Finch.
