Mistrence Fisher ran away from a Connecticut boarding school where she was previously known for hiding in practice rooms and plucking out Chopin on rusted pianos. The keyboard segued to the fretboard when a local rock band, Apocalypse Beat Project asked her to join them.

Missy then made her way to Boston, where she learned to pick out 2 note guitar chords on her roommate's pink strat. A chance encounter and a sponatenous burst of courage landed her on engineer, Dave Shrewsbury's doorstep. The trainwreck that would become their friendship included many nights dragging around tape machines in suitcases and stepping over piles of random instruments.

The pair continue to collaborate today. missy writes the songs, usually while sitting in traffic and Dave helps to translate the compositions out of her head on onto disk.

Before Dave Shrewsbury could tie his shoes, his parents noticed that he had perfect pitch and was able to regurgitate anything he heard onto the piano. Whether an instrument had keys, strings or reeds, Dave was playing it by highschool. His musical fluency earned him spots in rock, jazz and country bands throughout his homestate of West Virginia.

An interest and equal affinity for recording engineering sent him on his way to Boston where he met missy within days of moving in. Although they still bicker like school children, Dave can often be convinced to record and mix missy's songs, usually only after accepting multiple bribes of coffee.
