I've always loved this song, so here's my little rendition. Don't mind the levels.. I put this together in two takes by using a loop machine then recorded onto a $50 k-mart tablet. My house is not exactly the most conducive recording environment, so you may hear my mother chirping away in the background too... Enjoy :)

The egotistical mentality of 'ME ME LOOK AT ME' dealt out constantly by others confounded and frustrated myself. Others had to depended on me. Life felt as though there were no paths.. only brickwalls. As pressure added up, I felt like it was suffocating. On top of that a mate had passed on....  

Life kept on dealing out shit on a platter....  This called for a brutal shift in mentality.

I wrote this song in highschool and I was 19 when this was recorded, not bad for just a laptop and no confidence in my guitar skills let alone my brother coughing mid song. I was Disenchanted with the world (still am to a degree) but we learn to channel what is really important. Energy needs to be channeled in the right way, hence why this song was written and not punching morons in the face. Bonn appetite my friends.
