Thief is the new electronic pop project of PJ Wolf. A previous winner of the Triple J Unearthed Top Song competition and recipient of the Foundation for Young Australians Buzz Grant, PJ was recently shortlisted for the prestigious Vanda and Young songwriting competition for his track Closer.
Thief was born when PJ traded in his guitars for synthesizers, crafting a fresh minimalist sound that would embrace the aesthetic of contemporaries such as Metronomy, Frank Ocean and N.E.R.D. 
Tapping the talent of producer Matt Redlich (Emma Louise, Hungary Kids Of Hungary, Yes You) to help out with production and mixing he is now ready to share with the world his debut single Broken Boy on September 6th, 2013.

Blackbird Blackbird shows off his pop sensibilities in "All", thick with echoing guitar plucks and soothing, lightly-treated vocals. Chiming synths and fluttering clicks splash color on top of a melancholic tone. Clean four-to-the-floor beats and a lovely synth lead dissipate into dreamlike samples of incomprehensible speech and smooth, lapping waves. Distal remixes Blackbird Blackbirdʼs "Keep It Up" into a dark, barreling techno track. Blackbirdʼs crooning vocals stab into the rolling kick drum, complete with frenetic bubbling effects. The beat is broken up with touches of two-step futurism and at the very end, a playful flute appears to brighten the fade out.

Misun (pronounced 'me•sun') is undeniably energetic and catchy. Misun transcends traditional pop as they effortlessly blend 60's rock & roll nostalgia with hip-hop, dance and a touch of spaghetti western. Misun have self-proclaimed their sound as Aquawave. However their sound is defined, their deft exploration of sonics and style makes their catalog multidimensional (and at times unpredictable) while their music always remains cohesive and timeless.

By way of Washington DC, their debut EP "The Sea" was released in the summer of 2012 on T&A Records. Misun have since cultivated their fan base organically -- through a series of self-released digital singles in 2013. In 2014, Misun released their debut album "Superstitions", followed by their second EP "Feel Better" in the spring of 2015.

Now, Misun follows up the debut album "Superstitions" with a fresh new Nacey produced anthem "Give It Up," a sunny-side-up tune about heartache that slips and slides atop sparse instrumentals.
