Hello all~ Welcome to Day 15 of Steven Universe September! It's the start of our 3rd week, and we are now *officially* halfway through the month!

I thought it would be appropriate to post this song today at our halfway point, since it (along with the opening theme) is so integral to the show overall. It has been there for us, as the viewers, since the very beginning, so now I shall do my best to honor it as it deserves.

It's so interesting to pay attention the lyrics of this song now, knowing what I know now about Rose and Pink Diamond. That's one of the things I love most about the show. How even its songs contain hints and foreshadowing that we can only properly appreciate *years* later. It's crazy!!

I adore the feeling of warm comfort this song gives me, so singing it was such a treat. The lower notes, where I needed to tap into my chest voice, were actually a bit more difficult than I expected, but I think they turned out alright in the end!
