It's truly a great pleasure to welcome Florian Kupfer to the series. He is a very well-known German DJ and producer based in Berlin who, for many years now, has been churning out a long series of quality releases and performances. His catalog on LIES records is unrivaled with classics like 'Feelin' and many others. He also enjoys releases on Ninja Tune’s Technicolor, Willie Burns' W.T. Records, Unknown to the Unknown, ESP Institute. He most recently did a remix of GF favorite Asymmetrical on his Raw Culture imprint and is in the works to release new music on an imprint of his own. His production style employs improvisational performance methods combined with vintage electronics and sounds. Florian's carefully assembled a collage of samples and textures designed for deep listening that, in our opinion, captures the zeitgeist of current times. Lock in!

Musically, the duo lies somewhere on the border between dark synth-wave and EBM, but their second label, Tocca Il Futuro, showcases their affinity for the eclectic. “...Divine Ritual is an transdisciplinary project that moves between the dimensions of performance art and live creation. The experimental landscape is primarily constituted by the relationship between performers and spectators, within a creative path aimed at generating a ritual. The spectator, with their presence, will be a founding part of the creative design of the ritual itself. The ritual, which draws on the essential elements of Greek mythology, particularly the myth of Persephone and the Eleusinian Mysteries, is the archetypal experience in which sound and body are fused together, energy and matter converge in a single language, and full immersion between the terrestrial world and the cosmos is achieved. In an experimental process, the manipulation of electronic music sound will rhythmically punctuate the various moments, reaching a peak of tension and sonic pressure, determining the foundations of the ritual action, serving as a moment of ablution and then of expressive effusion for the performers, exploring the possibility of alerting the body enveloped in an uninterrupted sonic envelope and exposed to a collective vibration in which it is impossible to perceive a separation between performers and spectators. From listening to this inspiration, and guided by intuition and perception, the performers will linger in an empirical area with the sole support of three dramaturgical keys: DESCENT, SEARCH, ASCENT (as in the diachronic sequence of the Eleusinian Mysteries). This dramaturgical fabric serves as a generative principle: the architecture of the event will be articulated in an open itinerary of meta-spatio-temporal experiment...”
