Spivak is doing this months mix. Born and raised in Cyprus, Maria Spivak delivers a mild and enchanting piece that’s built around the concept of waking up just to sleep again. Emotionally it embraces this thought. Eventually slipping away with a traditional Cypriot folk lullaby sung to babies before sleep. 
Maria Spivak released her beautiful debut album ‘Met'a To P'eib = Μετά Το Ρέιβ’ for Ecstatic in 2020. A colorful melt pot of electro-ish synthpop. 
Her Knekelhuis mix features some future tracks that will be released on Honest Electronics somewhere in the near future.

Circadian rhythms are endogenous time-keeping systems that synchronize most organisms, from unicellular cyanobacterium to humans, to the external solar cycle. Since light information is the most potent synchronizing factor, biological clocks coordinate the individual’s internal physiological and biochemical processes according to light and dark cycles.

The show is divided into two sets of 1 hour and the musical selection of each DJ reflects those moments: day or night. In this episode Diamin (CL) is in charge of the first part of the program, and GHKC (AR) of the second.

the b-side is from a recording captured live from a party 
that (jAk) planned to go see DJ Rush at and brought in a 
handheld micro-cassette recorder in 1996.

many years later, he went back to listen to the party 
from the cassette he digitized and took it upon himself to 
attempt a recreation with an interpretation adding ideas 
on the fly not knowing if it was on point or not but did his
best knowing he wouldn’t be able to come close to the original
he has that’s also unreleased but did the best he could..
(jAk) never knew the title of the production so he gave 
his version a title..Wicked Hysteria.
