Remmah returns to Ireland, as Rory Hamilton aka @thehammerhits welcomes a 9th label release, as the Derry duo consisting of Dave Lievense and Stephen Porter aka @opusklien drop their brand new Aeronautic EP.

Dave Lievense and Stephen Porter have spent years honing hard-won reputations for quality on their own projects before linking up to form Opus Klien, with Lievense best known as one half of Hotflush, Planet E and Cocoon-affiliated outfit Psycatron, and Porter building one of Ireland’s most highly regarded events series, Jika Jika!

Having made a mark with a pair of remixes and a run of thunderous live performances, including regular appearances at The Warehouse Project and dates supporting Daniel Avery and Dense & Pika, the Aeronautic EP finds the Irish duo’s debut EP mining both their shared acid house and bleep techno influences, and the electronic pop & avant garde music of their youth.

The resultant four tracks ride waves of euphoria and intensity that made them a perfect fit for the cosmic techno/italo/acid-infused sound Hammer has established in his curation of the label so far – making an appearance himself with his own sharp & to-the-point reshaping of Monsters.

'We Bring It' is the title track of a new two-tracker from @jamie-jones and @dariussyrossian on Jones' seminal label @hot-creations. The title tune unfurls with chunky kickdrums and a chopped-up, speedy vocal sample that winds between a thwacking bassline - a touch of tribal percussion bounces throughout the track, reflecting the Balearic vibe for which Jones and Syrossian are celebrated.

"Both these tracks have equal elements of our individual sound. We made these a while ago but held them back as they were made especially for the Ibiza and festival season. After playing them at the beginning of the season, they have more than passed the road test," says Syrossian on the two-tracker.

Now lot of people don’t like Mondays and we think that’s fair enough; going back to work feeling a decade older after a heavy weekend spent making memories with friends can be a chore for even for the most optimistic of us as we trudge back in to the daily grind.  Luckily, help is at hand as we've secured Dominica's unreleased summer anthem 'Gotta Let You Go'.

Having caused quite a stir in clubs and festivals across the globe throughout warmer months, we had feared that the track wasn't going to get an official release despite the likes of Jackmaster and Skream championing the track in their sets.

Thus we were delighted to hear that it would finally be arriving via Altra Moda Music this November and quickly set about securing it for premiere. Rock solid grooves, pumping synths and rolling snares underpin catchy, redolent vocals for a sunshine soaked floor filler guaranteed to ward off those winter blues.

Patrick Topping returns to Hot Creations with his 'Taking Libz EP' and demonstrates why his reputation carries such weight with three special tracks that act as a master-class in how to create music that will consume dance floors.

First up is 'Brayed' which takes the listener on a loopy and enriching journey, whilst 'Howk' is a classic foot-to-the-floor number. Concluding the EP is 'Taking Libz', the title track that sees Topping firmly hold onto his crown with this unstoppable cut.

i-D Magazine described Patrick’s style "that is characterized by punchy, chugging baselines that have become weapons in the sets of many a DJ." Started his career DJing at the club night Motion in Newcastle, he was quickly snapped up by Jamie Jones, for Hot Creations. Releases on the label and a residency at Paradise DC10 in Ibiza soon followed and 2014 saw him release ‘Get Beasty’, ‘Forget’ and ‘Voicemail’ featuring Green Velvet and concluded with a hattrick of awards including winning the DJ Mag Best Newcomer, Track Of The Season and Best Tune awards in their Best of British Awards.
