I had the honor to close the Einmusika Labelnight at Basis in Utrecht last december. I had to play right after Einmusik himself, so I decided to start things off deep and melodic to make a smooth transition. From there on, I could slowly build my set towards a higher energy level.

I've been a fan of Hans Zimmer's music for a long time now. Last year I visited his concert in Amsterdam and when I heard Now We Are Free live  it gave me goosebumps right away. I have listened to it a lot and I always thought I should do something with it. So here it is, my take on this incredible emotional masterpiece from 'The Gladiator'.
