Lebanon

Glowing with positive vibes, while simultaneously tugging at your heartstrings, his debut EP is aimed to ponder the painfully wonderful paradox of love and relationship. The sound is hard to define, but I guess you could call it indie-folk-soul that secretly wants to be pop. Most of these songs are built around a vibey acoustic guitar riff, and from there they could go a number of different ways, but laced through it all are Mitch’s slightly soulful, beautifully rich vocal melodies. Think the sultry bellows of Ray Lamontagne, meets the pure falsettos of Bon Iver. Musically, there's is a little something for everyone, ranging from vintage synthesisers to vibey beats to beautiful violins. Amidst all these elements, the arrangements remain simple, raw, and wonderfully catchy.
