I am usually not a fan of sharing online the experience of a live set. The emotion, energy and aurea of that moment is something that cannot be grasped with a simple click. 
However, since the moment I touched the decks during this mix, I intuitively knew it was going to be something special… something which I would be happy for those who were not there to partially feel, listen and enjoy. This set includes a selection of my favorite tracks from this year -some older some newer- and all fundamental to create a linear, coherent story.

WINTI DANSI 

WINTI is a spiritual belief which lives under the six ndyuka tribes in Surinam. The dancers prepared their bodies with herbs and are therefore able to dance through the fire. While doing the WINTI DANSI, it is possible for the dancer to go into a trance. The WINTI DANSI is only performed on special occasions. 

This mix is recorded with a closing state of mind. Powerful rhythmic tracks which connects me to my KRAKTI (Powerful) culture. Searching for a bit more edge while keeping consistent rhythms. A bit faster than the other NDYUKA podcasts but never fast for the sake of being fast. 

Just like a WINTI DANSI i love it when people not just hear the music but really feel it. To a point where you could close your eyes and connect with the smallest details without any effort.

Niki is known for her carefully curated podcasts and amazing studio mixes. She has managed to put herself on the map alongside other renowned DJs and music artists. NIki founded the platform, "Deep House Vancouver", which has been dedicated to showcasing DJs, musicians from various genres of electronic music through carefully crafted podcasts, premieres and releases. 

We have been a big fan of Niki's sets for quite some time and knew we had to invite her to be a guest on our new podcast series. We are thrilled to share her beautifully put together set for us all to enjoy during this pandemic. Hope you enjoy the journey!

**Missive** est un duo de DJs femme/homme nouvellement formé, tous deux purs produits de la fameuse "3KP" marseillaise. Né de la fusion de deux univers sonores complémentaires, le duo tire son nom de l’idée d'envoyer un message musical fort, une missive lancée à ceux qui cherchent de la bonne techno.
Leur musique, à la croisée des genres, est inspirée par des artistes de différents univers tels que Carl Cox, Victor Ruiz, Drunken Kong, Dubfire ou encore Wehbba.
En solo, ils ont déjà partagé les Lines UP de Matt Sassari, Rafael Cerato, Nicolas Cuers, Vinka Wydro, Munsinger… 
Ensemble, ils mélangent l’intensité brute de la techno berlinoise avec des influences plus subtiles tirées de l’électro et de la house.
