The Lion of Judah is the result of a heartfelt collaboration between Jerzy and his Gambian son, Nfamara Jarju. Jerzy composed the music, while Nfamara’s warm and distinctive vocals breathe life into two of the tracks, infusing them with an authentic and soulful energy. Listeners can expect rousing rhythms, uplifting skanks, and the unmistakable squelch of the TB-303, whose acid-tinged basslines give the songs a unique and modern edge. At its core, the work is a vibrant glorification of Jah Rastafari – The Almighty, carrying both spiritual devotion and musical joy.
The remaining six tracks emerge entirely from Jerzy Bos’s creative vision. They showcase his deep love for reggae, seamlessly blended with contemporary sounds and influences, resulting in a collection that feels both rooted in tradition and refreshingly original. Each piece reflects his ability to honor the past while pushing boundaries, offering a rich musical journey from start to finish.
