Glasgow born and Berlin based DJ and Producer I.E has been making a name for himself in the techno and trance scene for some time now. His style leans towards the heavier sides of these genres intertwining heavier sounds such as gabber and schranz. Having releases a number of track on his own imprint Ismus as well as Space Trax, MITSU2000, EXTRA ENERGY and Wav:es, he has plenty more project in the works. I.E is the co-owner and label manager of the infamous Ismus project in Berlin. He also holds a residency with the Streck collective based out of Gothenburg, Sweden.

Unwucht grew up in Berlin, where he early discovered a passion for various forms of groovy paced electronic music. Now he is going for a fast, driving industrial influenced vibe, always looking for that certain groove that let your footwork. He loves putting the focus on percussions though he likes to contrast those with tension-evoking synth-lines, pounding low-ends and constant movement in his tracks.

Dj, producent i organizator imprez z Warszawy. Swoją przygodę z muzyką techno rozpoczął w 2003 roku w stołecznym klubie Lokomotywa. Po około 2 latach nabył dwa gramofony oraz mixer i zaczął zbierać płyty. Dość szybko zainteresował się produkcją własnej muzyki, jednak minęło trochę czasu, nim postanowił się nią podzielić z innymi. W 2015 założył label Dirty Sound Records i wydał swoją pierwszą płytę. Aktualnie ma na koncie 3 winyle, kilka utworów wydanych na digitalu i masę zorganizowanych cykliczych wydarzeń, takich jak "Summer Techno Vibez", "Hard Techno Vibez", "Brain Surgery" czy "Dirty Sound Night". Jego sety cechuje dynamika i duża ilość cutów. W swoich setach stawia przede wszystkim na acid i hard, jednak równie często sięga też po klasyczne techno.

Dj, producer and event promoter from Warsaw. His adventure with techno music began in 2003 at the Lokomotywa club in Warsaw. 2 years later he purchased two turntables and mixer and started collecting records. Vlado quickly became interested of his own music production but it took some time before decided to share it with the others. In 2015 founded Dirty Sound Records label and released his first EP. Currently he has 3 vinyl releases, few tracks released on digital and lots of organized events like "Summer Techno Vibez", "Hard Techno Vibez", "Brain Surgery" or "Dirty Sound Night" series. As a dj he likes dynamic playing with loads of cuts and effects in the mixes. His sets focuses primarily on acid and hard techno but he also often reaches for techno classics.

Welcome to the 11th ''RAVECAST'' by Ravescape Kollektiv.

Coming from the Paris underground scene, it’s been 5 years now that
DJ Reiz is spoiling our ears and hearts with beautiful Techno Trance
bangers, reinventing old school 90s sounds and combining them with
new groovy and thundering elements.

Owner of the young and fresh label Union Trance Mission, he defends
a unique vision of rave music, a hybrid - fast - sometimes melodic,
but especially effective style. Real playground for several rising heads
of the European rave scene, already counting a dozen releases, it is
through this label that he fosters creativity and carries loud and clear
the banner of a very special sub-genre : Techno Trance.

Sailing between oldschool bangers, frenetic grooves and melancolic
synths, DJ Reiz generously deploys a whole range of emotions in all
his sets, exporting his vibrations from the french capital to Berlin or
Copenhagen.

RAVECAST #011 / DJ REIZ

In times of #Corona people have to keep touching each other without really physically touching each other, by staying #connected in their hearts and minds. This is possible and necessary in order to strengthen the cohesion within the population and to show #solidarity among each other. Through small gestures of attention, helpfulness, encouragement, contact, encouraging words and especially #sharing #music, we can help each other to overcome this unprecedented state of emergency and to remain an #inclusive and #supportive #community.

Our goal is to create a new #opportunity for #DJs from all over the world to share their music without borders and stay #connected #digitally. Moreover the artists will share their personal opinion about the #quarantine situation, explain how it affects them and how they try to deal with it.

Even if it is no longer possible for us to be together physically for an indefinite period of time and to live out our joy and love for music in #clubs and at #festivals, we can still #participate in each other’s lives through an online connection and stand this through together. Although states have #locked their #borders to each other, we shouldn’t create borders in our heads. Now is the time to get rid of all the borders in our minds and tear down the walls in our hearts - we’re in this #together.

Our 8th guest on board is Katia Val from Australia, based in France. She is crossing genre boundaries in her sets like techno, breakbeat and acid with melodic and atmosphere elements.

The next mix in our MITSUcast series was recorded by Narciss. He is a Berlin based DJ producer and member of the Leipzig based SEELEN label/crew. He established himself a name in the scene by releasing on labels such as 1Ø Pills Mate and Space Trax. His EP "Language Of Love" will come out on Lobster Theremin later this month. This set reflects Narciss' musical style as it is a mix of energetic techno tracks and melodic trance productions. Enjoy!

For the third round of our podcast series we invited Pastwa! Pastwa is co-founder and resident of Krakow based collective and party series Nasenbluten. Since her DJ debut not more than a year ago she is known for regularly setting the dancefloor on fire, not just in Krakow but also in cities like Copenhagen or Berlin. Her playstyle ranges from fast-paced hard trance to heavy industrial sounds.
For now, get ready for a one hour journey full of athmospheric darkness and heavy kicks!

She is active in the techno scene since 2015 and has since then played in various locations all around Sweden and also internationally. Next up we have talented DJ and producer Billie Jo from Stockholm, Sweden. Billie is a founding member of the Stockholm based underground collective .WAV and resident DJ at underground venue Rottweiler in Gothenburg. Her sets can be described as rythmic, playful, stomping techno journeys that are guaranteed to get the crowd moving. Billie's debut vinyl 'The Ravenous EP’ was released on Spencer Parker's label Work Them Records in the spring of 2019. The follow up, ’Ne Plus Ultra EP’, was released one year later on Vincent Neumann's label Unitas Multiplex (including a remix by Copenhagen based producer Sugar). Billie’s third release is scheduled for January 2021, on DJ Lily's label LILIES.
