Don’t Say Anything is the second album from Bristol-based musician and DJ Mitsubio. Picking up where 2024’s Round Two left off, Don’t Say Anything again draws from disparate genres including house, B-more, Big Beat (Yes, that genre from the 90s), 140 and hiphop. 

Never quite sitting in the confines of any of those labels, the tracks on Don’t Say Anything aren’t designed squarely for the dancefloor, but still have the lineage of a music-maker who’s spent 30 years building a record collection informed by late nights, sweaty basements and ruined record sleeves. 

An ideal Christmas present for the curious electronic music lover in your life, the album drops on your favourite music platform on Friday 19 December. All tracks available for licence, and good times.

Mitsubio is the production alias of Jon Leisure, Bristol-based DJ and founder of Leisure Recordings. Having DJed since the mid-90s, Jon figured nearly 30 years later it was time to start producing, instead of only playing other people’s music.

With a several thousand-strong record collection that spans house, disco, funk, hip hop, jungle and other more niche genres, Mitsubio brings these influences together without tying the project to one genre.
