In October 1990 Coventry made dance music history...

That first Saturday night/Sunday morning experience was put on at the former Granada Bingo Hall in Lower Ford Street,Coventry,England.

The bingo hall had now been transformed into a 4 floored nightclub, and was also voted the best nightclub in the country in 1991 by fellow ravers through DJ Magazine. With a chill out space including a cinema on the ground floor, a second floor room enough to hold 500 people, and the main room on the top floor holding over a 1000 people including the balcony.

Every Friday and Saturday night would be filled by clubber's and raver's from all over Britain..

Act's such as :The Prodigy, K Klass, SL2, Altern 8, Moby, Shades of Rhythm and LFO all passed through it's door's with live p.a. set's.

Top dj's such as, The great grooverider,carl cox,sasha,frankie bones,Micky finn,top buzz etc,all graced the decks on a reguar basis,and two hour set's were the norm.

February 94,the club was closed.

At the time of closing more than one million people had passed through its doors and it had a standing membership of 74,000. .

To play the very last Flashback at the que club,Birmingham, was a very proud time in my musical journey ..the place holds so many special memories for me ,and i guessing, for  many of you out there too..there's something magical about the que which creates a unique atmosphere,and that coupled with the flashback faithful,made for one ex-ordinary night!

To Roll a set out alongside one my biggest inspirations  of the rave scene in Man Parris ,at a Flashback,in this unique venue ..will be a  cherished memory,and i'm so glad i can now share this set with you,..feel free to share and/or leave a comment,crank it up and Enjoy! ;0)

To play a main room set at  AMNESIA HOUSE's 30 anniversary was truly a landmark moment for me , A personal achievement that i struggle to put into words really ,It  was a very proud time in my musical journey, I remember attending their first early AH parties from 88 ,Looking up at the dj box , Hoping one day , I would be playing alongside some of those djs who we hold in high regard for helping to shape our scene  , The history of AH stretches way back to the beginning  ,And those that know ,know how much their involvement means to so many,How they dispite the obstacles , helped form a platform for the scene to grow into what we have now  ,And the struggles they faced with the authorities in the early days to get the parties on !. 

 AH brought different people together , from all walks of life,All cultures,All Areas , All colours ..together under one roof,They  changed the course of life for many people along the way .. 

Their contribution to help forge a path to where we are now is unquestionable , And there historical parties are forever eched in Rave History ..

 i'm proud to be playing a small part   🙏🏽💓....

What a nite this was at the Empire,Coventry!, It was called  'A Celebration of rave' ,And it certainly was  !!
