I am absolutely in love with the Touhou series, I generally like the idea of Danmaku at its core. The most beautiful pattern wins, because the more beautiful the pattern, the more bullets you have to dodge. You must deliberately put in openings here and there to keep things fair and balanced. This is a rule to even the playing ground for both those that are weak and those that are strong, it's a system that also rewards you on skill. So just as long as you have a form of a projectile that you can fire, so long as you're able to dodge successfully and consecutively, you'll probably come out on top. Makes you wonder if Reimu's either a person that just acts on impulse or if she's just a really big brain person. I'm willing to bet on the former
I typically like rhythm games, otherwise roguelikes and rpgs will be #1
