Stelios Vassiloudis is a musician, producer and DJ specializing in electronic house music. He has released music under various other monikers and aliases over the last 10 years, racking up an impressive discography and collaborating with an exciting and diverse number of labels such as Bedrock, Audiomatique and Poker Flat to name a select few.

Here the talented Greek show's us some of the depth of his musical knowledge and abilities, as he debuts on the superb Armadillo. 

The title track 'Amnesia' is a dubby slo-mo slab of deepness, as subtleties become the tracks strong point, as we meander across a spacious musical soundscape, encountering cool vocal drops, beautiful pads and some tinkling melodics that set the track right off. Deep and devastating stuff indeed, oozing of quality.

'Saturday Sky' is next, and is overflowing with emotive tones that cascade effortlessly. Like a dreamy and misty sunshine laden day in the desert, this gem unfurls beautiful layers of musicality,. that merge wonderfully, providing a sultry soundtrack.

Phonique (@phonique) lands back in the sweet spot with a series of remixes of one of the standout tracks on his 'Green Supreme' album. 'Something Special' - featuring the vocal talents of Ian Whitelaw, was always ripe for reworks - and this package doesn’t disappoint. 

Opening with Phonique’s own club mix, the track is tweaked into a dancefloor bomb - exhibiting all the light and shade he has always been a master of. The mix is both epic and emotional, and will be doing some serious damage over the coming months.

Munich based DJ/Producer and label owner Nhan Solo (@nhan-solo) drops a tougher mix - bringing a rough, Chicago - influenced edge to the rhythms and still giving the track plenty of space for Whitelaw’s vocals.

The Black 80s (@theblack80s) remix flips the script totally and brings out the synth pop roots of the track, marrying Whitelaws’ soulful vocals with a bubbling, summer vibe.

Sam Shure (@samshure) - a regular at Berlin underground spaces such as Sisyphos and Salon zur wilde Renate, releasing on Katermukke - brings his own distinct flavor to his mix- supplying it with plenty of tech house magic to work on every dancefloor.

Sex Of Insects — I'm Full (Hiroshi Watanabe Remix)

One could say it's a tradition by now; four times a year, in every new season, we present a fine selection of music brought to you by various artists on our highly acclaimed 'Seasons' series. This time it's time for the Spring 2017 edition and we've got a rather impressive international line-up for you once again.

The release kicks off with JOBE who returns within the Manual label family hot on the heels of his successful 'Siege Of Syracuse EP' who drops a serious dance floor bomb in his trademark intense arpeggiator fueled sound.

After that we've got the American / Dutch connection between newcomer Haidak and familiar face Jaap Ligthart who teamed up together on numerous collaborative efforts from which 'Mothership' is the first to see the light of day.

Willy Real has released his debut album 'Birthplace Of My Dream' on Manual Music last year and now returns with 'Sozinho'. A deep, smooth and sexy tune perfect for sultry summer nights.

Li-Polymer has been a household name in the progressive house scene for many years, but has never released on Manual/MNL up until now. His 'The Trees In The City' sounds very refreshing with it's crispy clear and airy production values. A nice dreamer.

We're finishing off the EP with a proper portion of acid with MAS returning the remix favors for Juliane Wolf after she'd remixed his 'a l'Antiboise' single earlier this year. 'Reunion' was originally released on the Manualism 10.0 album at the end of 2016. An lovely piece of electronica now turned into a fierce dance floor burner!

Li-Polymer - The Trees In The City

The sixth release from Manjumasi come as the label celebrates its 1-year anniversary. This one takes us slightly off the beaten path, with a debut EP from Russia's Saultloom. A veteran of studio production, Saultloom is a new moniker and project that presents a sophisticated blending of sounds and genres. The three originals pluck elements from the worlds of deep house, progressive house, and even techno, weaving them into an intriguing sonic tapestry that is not so easily defined, instantly catching the ear.

Kowtow, the title track, is a deep excursion, pushing steadily forward with lush elements and twisted, trippy effects. Zoanthropy pushes the exploration even further, lead by a very strong arpeggiated synth. And finally, Forelsket rounds out the set of originals, heading out to left field with an extremely quirky and playful bass-driven groove.

The first remix comes from a true stalwart of the dance music scene: Just Be, aka Bushwacka. Matthew has turned in a proper dance floor stormer, extracting the essence of the Kowtow groove and adding layers of percussion and effects with an extremely unique flavor and edge. The result is a one-of-a-kind driving energy that shows Matthew's seasoned experience as well as his ability to produce fresh sounds.

Rounding out the package is the Dutch mastermind Malbetrieb, whose interpretation of Kowtow heads straight for outer space. Trippy and evocative interleaving synth lines blend their way through the track, gently arpeggiated over a solid bed of deep bass.
